The new stadium was the first modern stadium built specifically for an NFL franchise. At the time, the eleven other NFL teams were playing either in facilities shared with major league baseball teams or in other pre-existing shared facilities. The site, now bordered on three sides by the village of Ashwaubenon, was selected because it had a natural slope, ideal for creating the bowl shape, along with expansive parking. The nearby outdoor practice fields (Clarke Hinkle Field and Ray Nitschke Field) and Don Hutson Center are in Ashwaubenon, as was the Packers Hall of Fame until 2003. The land had once been farmland belonging to Jacques Vieau.[23]

Since then, the Packers have been regularly increasing the seating capacity. The bowl was increased to 42,327 in 1963, to about 50,837 in 1965 with the enclosure of the south end zone,[27][28][29][30] and to 56,263 in 1970, when the north end zone was enclosed to form a continuous oval bowl.[31] In the early 1980s, the team considered placing a dome on the stadium.[32]
Construction of 72 private boxes in 1985 increased the seating capacity to 56,926, and a 1990 addition of 36 additional boxes and 1,920 theatre-style club seats brought the number to 59,543. In 1995, a $4.7 million project put 90 more private boxes in the previously open north end zone, again giving the stadium the feel of a complete bowl and increasing capacity to 60,890.
In 2010, plans were announced by the Green Bay Packers to install new high definition scoreboards in place of their current scoreboards; plans for a new sound system were announced as well.[39] Later, the plans were expanded to include adding as many as 7,500 seats both inside and outside as well as viewing platforms and lounge areas. On May 5, 2011, the Packers sent out an online survey to 30,000 season-ticket holders, club-seat holders and individuals on the season-ticket waiting list to get feedback from the fans on several concepts being considered for the south end-zone development. On August 25, 2011, plans were officially announced to add 7,500 new seats to the south end zone. The new seats are outdoors with the exception of one indoor row. The seats include heated areas that melt snow as it falls (a concept tested on a small scale during winter 2010), intending to solve the logistical problem of shoveling snow from an "upper deck" seating area. The snow that falls into the original bowl area is shoveled by compensated volunteers from the community[40] using a system of temporary chutes placed in the aisles and carts to remove the snow from the stadium.
The Green Bay Packers have made efforts to make Lambeau Field more environmentally sustainable, in addition to the LED lighting upgrades. Extra recycling bins will be placed around the field and biodegradable food-ware will be used at restaurants and other establishments within Lambeau Field. There are also plans to power the field with wind energy and biogas.[90] Similarly, more than 500 induction lighting fixtures have been installed within it, as well as 11 high-efficiency condensing boilers for space heating in the stadium, melting snow, and heating the field. Also, two high-efficiency electric chillers have been installed for the air-conditioned regions of Lambeau Field.[91]

Home to the University of North Georgia baseball team, Bob Stein Stadium was constructed during the fall of 2008 and features a first-class facility for the Nighthawks. With 500 chair back seats, fans will enjoy a perfect venue for NCAA Baseball. Bob Stein Stadium offers players, fans, and media a beautiful facility with the backdrop of the Dahlonega mountains. Since the original construction of the baseball complex, the dugouts, field, and amenities have undergone changes and upgrades over the past six seasons. In 2005, the maintenance building was built along the left field fence to house grounds crew equipment and team supplies. FieldTurf was installed at Bob Stein Stadium in 2014 as part of a renovation project to the outdoor facilities at UNG, giving the Nighthawks a field to play on regardless of weather conditions. A new Major League quality padded wall was constructed around the entire field after the installation of FieldTurf making the playing surface not only one of the most beautiful in the country, but one of the safest to play on as well. In 2020, the stadium was upgraded again with a Formetco videoboard to serve as the scoreboard as well as a place to give fans information and in-game entertainment.About FieldTurf FieldTurf was developed and engineered for athletes, by athletes. The company that changed the way athletes view "artificial turf". Before FieldTurf, natural grass was considered by many to be the best solution for sports fields around the world - even though it required constant maintenance and could not withstand heavy use. FieldTurf's inventors were not trying to create a better artificial solution, they were trying to replicate natural grass. Throughout the last decade our engineered, infilled artificial turf systems became the first to host two Super Bowls, the World Series, the World Baseball Classic, a Major League Soccer Cup final and College Bowl games from coast to coast. Today, FieldTurf continues to thrive as the global market leader in synthetic sports fields with more than 7,000 fields installed. Cities and schools have been benefiting from our ability to provide the very best value for the short and long term, allowing organizations at all levels to be able to forecast the amount of money they will save by installing FieldTurf, the safest, longest lasting and highest performing artificial turf system.
According to The Dallas Morning News, the planned, periodic upgrades will include refreshing premium spaces and upgrading technology to keep the venue on a par with some of the newer stadiums in the NFL such as US Bank Stadium in Minnesota, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
You need to buy three upgrades to your stadium for 100,000, 200,000 and 400,000 gold. This should be rather easy to accomplish as going for other trophies but if you are struggling with the money, you can sell your own players to your other teams by following the guide for Law of the market.
"It feels like I got stood up for prom," said Ralph Esquibel, the Dodgers' Vice-President of Information Technology, who has been working on the upgrades for years. "I got all dressed up and ready to go and my date didn't show up. It's definitely a little bit disheartening that you have this beautiful new, shiny stadium. I want people to enjoy it."
Bulldog Stadium was built through a community effort in the 1970s to raise more than $7 million. No state tax dollars or student fees were used to build the stadium, which opened in 1980. It has undergone several upgrades since then.
March saw the release of a study that said the stadium needed about $17 million in upgrades to remain viable in the years ahead. The report from Conventions, Sports & Leisure International was commissioned by the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism, which operates the stadium. Suggested upgrades included everything from replacing the artificial turf on the field to addressing what the report called "antiquated and significantly undersized" food-service facilities.

After privately financing the construction of Gillette Stadium, the Kraft family has continually re-invested in stadium improvements to keep the fan experience ahead of the ever-evolving sports and entertainment industry trends. Some of the most notable additions in recent years were communal fan gathering spaces, including the Optum Field Lounge, the Encore Terrace and the Cross Insurance Pavilion & Business Center. There have been numerous other enhancements made, including the addition of ribbon boards, video boards, WiFi and innovative concession upgrades. In 2021, the south end of Gillette Stadium underwent significant renovations which incorporated a modern and more streamlined concession area on the main concourse and a new, higher-definition video board that is 70 percent larger than the one it replaced. 2ff7e9595c
